Overview of Aspire

General Arrangement Photo of the Aspire

The Aspire is a very elegant design.  The construction is first class!  My model has an 80-gram carbon center panel and a 68-gram tip panel.  The model is shipped complete with the wire harness installed.  Ballast consists of 12 pieces of steel rod for a total of 23 ounces.  It also comes with 12 wooden spacers to adjust ballast for varying conditions.  You simply supply; 6-servos, a battery pack, and a receiver – everything else is completely finished for you - straight from the factory.  My model is 62 ounces with no equipment and balances on the flap hinge line.

As shipped – note large access area and control rods, ballast tube and wire harness runs to the front of the servo tray

The following photos are purely for comparison between the Perfect and the Aspire.  Both designs are engineered to the highest levels for F3J competition, and therefore it is no surprise that they have similar characteristics.

Launch position

The Aspire has a good feel in your hand and should offer plenty to hold onto during a high tension F3J launch.

I want to thank Lubos for trusting me to test this model.  I have always done well with Lobos’ designs and this one appears to be his best one yet.

Thanks!
